INTRODUCTION

This book promises never to leave you where ever it found you no matter who you are .Like the little book revealed in the book of Revelation, eat and digest this well. The full glory of Christianity has not been revealed to many and this is what this apostolic book has come to do. When I wrote MEET JESUS LIVE, the book turned around so many lives. It gave them a clear picture of a living saviour of the present, who can be met as in the bible days. Jesus Christ being the same yesterday, today and forever had a meaningful expression to all who came in contact with the book and Christ began to appear to some, proving Himself truly as the same today.

In this piece titled BECAUSE HE LIVES, every believer is not only to say bye bye to failure or defeat, but to step up in that glory that brought Saul who later became Paul flat on the ground. Paul encountered this glory which its power blinded him for three days. After that encounter, Paul was a changed man and out ran most of the disciple who dined and wined with Jesus Christ physically in his earthly ministry. That glory was with Paul all through and gave him access to some other wonderful experiences recorded in the bible.

In the light of the scripture which cannot be broken and my own experiences as a living witness coupled with that of some others, you shall have an unforgettable flight. Fasten your seat belt.

CHAPTER 1

JESUS IS ALIVE FOREVER MORE

“I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet, saying , I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last, and, what thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches, which are in Asia, unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.

And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, fear not; I am the first and the last. I am he that liveth, and was dead; and behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen, and have the keys of hell and of death.

Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are and the things which shall be hereafter”

Revelation 1: 10-11,17-19

The greatest news in the world today is that Jesus Christ is alive and is changing lives as in the bible days. No news equals this in all generations for there depends the hope of mankind. Nothing would have been good about this gospel without this.

“And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching Vain, and your faith is also vain.” 1 Corinthians 15:14

Jesus Christ the Son of the living God, the Lord and Saviour of the world has appeared to me severally and He’s still appearing with specific messages. In one of the occasions, He laid His hands upon me to go and bear witness to the world that He is alive and still Changes lives. That appearance was significant in so many ways. When He was approaching towards me, I saw myself on my knees without thinking about kneeling down. His glory was so much that it brought me to my knees. He laid His hands upon my head and commissioned me for this heavenly mission.

The present day Church is yet to come to terms with the total mystery about Christ’s being alive. When the Church of today comes to the fullness of this most important mystery, the full glory of the later house shall be revealed. Paul had an encounter with this glory and was never the same again. This is what the church and the present day believers must go for now, not all the useless religious ceremonies and empty preaching’s we have today. Look at Paul’s testimony of the encounter that turned him from a murderer to a Saviour.

“At midday, O king, I saw in the way a light from heaven, above the brightness of the Sun, Shining round about me and them which journeyed with me. And when we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice speaking unto me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why persecuting thou me? It is hard for thee to kick against the pricks. And I said, who art thou, Lord? And he said, I am Jesus whom thou persecute. But rise, and stand upon thy feet for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in which I will appear unto thee; Delivering from people, and from Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee; To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God that they may receive forgiveness of Sins, and inheritance among them which are Sanctified by faith that is in me. Where upon, O king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision”. Acts 26: 13 – 19.

This is the story of Saul who later became Paul. He had an encounter with the living Jesus on his way to Damascus to continue his havoc on the Saints. A man with an encounter or experience is never to be compared with the one who have not, in any way. In the bible, Christ made several appearances after His death and passion with what is described as infallible or undeniable proofs that He is alive. Today I am among the living witnesses that Christ have all over the world had one on one encounter with. Paul made clear the purpose of Christ’s appearance to him in the above quoted scripture. He even added that such appearance was not over. Paul was an apostle and as well major as a prophet. His living encounter with Christ gave him some type of edge over the other apostles who ate and wined with our Lord Jesus Christ during His earthly ministry or sojourn. When you believe that Jesus Christ is alive not just by head knowledge but with all your heart as a result of an experience, your spiritual state changes.

In the course of my living encounters with the living Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, everything about me changed both spiritual and physically. My first profound encounter happened at mid-day in a room. I was outside but was moved to go into the room. As I sat down not knowing what was about to happen, the living Jesus appeared to me in that great episode with a message to the world, the church which He purchased with His Blood and to every believer. He said, “THE DEVIL WILL TEMPT YOU IN MY FORM BE CAREFUL”. After saying this, in order to further buttress the meaning of what he said, He acted it out. It was a scene. I wish before God that the entire world could have seen it for them to realize how true the Lord can be but also for them to compare it with what is happening today. When He made the above statement, He turned to identical two of Himself. At this point, you will need the eagle’s eyes of the Holy Spirit in total discernment to know the original from the fake. This is the end time strategy of the devil against the body of Christ, or the Saints today.

Many are falling victim of this already, as foretold about the elects. So many people you see today who claim to be of Christ are not. The devil has transformed himself with his agents to look like Christ so as to finish his mission but God will not allow him. Many Christians are ignorant of this. They follow anybody or go anywhere without being led by the spirit. Some church workers in some good churches are recruited agents of Satan that are there for his end time assignment. If you look at this next portion of the bible, you will get the picture.

“For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostle of Christ.

And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore, also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works” II Corinthians 11:13-15

Looking at this scripture, you will see that there is a serious pollution. Some ministers who were on the good list of God are no more there. What they see as success has opened the door for Satan to take over them. People are opening churches everywhere, some of which are directed by God. The aim of this book is to reveal Jesus Christ alive to you and how you can allow Him change your life and circumstances as He did in the bible days because He is the same yesterday, today and forever. Hebrew 13:8. But I took this little time to point out this, because of the danger. Some people who have gone to certain churches and to some so called ministers need deliverance from initiation and contaminations they have received there. No matter how much miracle one performs, that does not make him or her a true servant of God. It is made clear in the bible. Be careful!

Christ is alive and is very interested in you and the church He bought with a high price. Jesus lives and is willing to prove Himself alive in your life if you believe. Jesus Christ the resurrection and the life once appeared to me in my parlour and told me something that has given me direction to what He has assigned to me. He said: “NO CHURCH BUILT WILL ACCOMMODATE MY CONGREGATION”

I understand my role from this, as a living witness sent to the entire Body of Christ. This is why specific messages and uncommon encounters are granted to me by His grace. The messages I bring through Him are not for the four walls of a church building, it is for the entire world. The book of revelation that we started this chapter with made certain things clear. Christ said that He is the Alpha and Omega, the first and the last. The living Jesus Christ being revealed alive here is your only hope. He has the final authority today as long as you believe that He is alive and approach Him that way. He said, “Write in a book, and send to the seven churches”. What was he to write? What He has seen. What I am writing is what I have seen. This is a book born out of encounter not theory and ought to be taken very serious. Christ is alive and is interested in people encountering Him in their lives. His testimony is final, He says; “I am He that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen and have the keys of hell and of death, write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be here after.” Rev. 1:18-19

His testimony of His being alive and in authority is a sure victory for those who will believe it with their heart and act it out. Christ being alive means that our defeat has been defeated and our failure has failed. In my commission and among those who read the testimony of Christ being alive in my write-ups, His appearances and divine interventions abound far and wide. Our preaching and faith are both useless without Jesus being alive. The gospel is an empty gossip without this. Your hope amounts to nothing if Christ is not alive in you. He will use you and the challenges in your life to prove that He lives by showing up in diverse ways with unprecedented miracles. The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. Revelation 19:10. No matter how religious you are, if your faith is not anchored on this mystery you are in misery.

“…………..if in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable” I Corinthians 15:17-19

ROLL CALL OF WITNESS

Apostle Paul accounts of the line up of witness whom Christ appeared to in-order to drive home this point, put it this way:

“Moreover, brethren I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received and wherein ye stand. By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believe in vain. For I deliver unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scripture. And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve. After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. For I am the least of the apostles that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the Church of God.

But by the grace of God I am what I am; and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I but the grace of God which was with me.” I Corinthians 15:1-10.

Here in this Scripture, it is made clear not only that Christ is alive by calling these so many witnesses but also that if this is not where you are standing you are falling already. Anything outside this, you are not saved. He showed Himself to these people alive for a purpose. When He appeared to Mary Magdalene that early Sunday, He told her to go and tell others but they didn’t believe her. He made another appearance to two disciples yet they did not believe. He then had to meet a good number of them live. I want us to look at this account as reported in the bible for good.

“Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils. And she went and told them that had been with him, as they mourned and wept. And they, when they had heard that he was alive, and had been seen of her, believed not. After that he appeared in another form unto two of them, as they walked, and went unto the country.

And they went and told it unto the residue; neither believe they them. Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen’’ Mark 16;9-14

This living Jesus Christ was so much concerned with driving home the point of His being God Almighty because only God can prove to be alive evermore. He needed to convince these disciples of the bible days by divine encounters. They were to have experiences so that they can be His witnesses that He lives. They doubted despite that He told them before His death that He will rise the third day. If these people could doubt, what do you think of today’s believers who only read from the bible. These disciples heard from Jesus Christ and still doubted. You need not to be told that today’s disciples or Christians are not going to believe this too except they have some kind of experiences or concrete knowledge of this issue. This is why a book like this is born. Many have head knowledge about this and think they truly believe. If certain things arise, you will find out the difference between letter knowledge and experience. Christ rebuked them for not believing. When they finally believed, He commissioned them to go and spread the news. It would have been a second hand news if they did not experience it. First hand news is the best. You can only win a case if you have on the spot witnesses who will give account of what they saw or witnessed. This was what Christ Jesus did with them and He is not doing it differently today. He sent them not as story tellers.

“And he said unto them, go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

And these signs shall follow them that believe in my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues.

They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly things, it shall not hurt them, they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. So then after the Lord had spoken unto them he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen. Mark 16:15-20

When the disciples had this encounter with the Living Jesus and received Rhema from Him, they became fire. They were moving and the Lord was proving Himself alive. If we can get this clear and go to bear witness that Jesus Christ is alive, which means that He is God; and that man’s full price for freedom has been paid and those who believe this will see Him one way or the other, infallible proofs are going to abound. The Lord made it clear to be, that this will make the whole difference in the lives of the believers. Today’s church has left supernatural demonstration of God’s power and has settled for ceremonies that look like embalming the dead instead of raising the dead.

It is good we find out what they preached that was confirmed. God is a God of purpose. If you are not identifying with His purpose, His glory you will not see. Christ appeared and gave them what to say and as they committedly went on with that. He was proving Himself to be alive by doing the things He did when He was with them in His earthly ministry. Some preachers today have become mere motivational speakers. No amount of motivational speaking can raise a dead body. We need to reason again. Those sugar coated sermons without confirmations, where are they from and what is it all about. Jesus wants the world to believe that He is alive He wants them to know this beyond head knowledge. This is what will make Jesus to step in and prove that He is alive. Get this into your heart; your head cannot handle it.

Some churches today are becoming Bethesda pool where a great number will gather only for one out of the multitude suffering to be healed seasonally because we are not presenting Him alive with the true message. Any message outside. Jesus being alive and all the mysteries around it, has nothing for the church today. Take time to make your head knowledge of Jesus being alive change to that of heart knowledge that will bring an encounter. Letter knowledge kills; it is only the spirit that gives life, in other words that

Produces result. Jesus Christ is alive and wants you to approach Him based on His being the same yesterday, today and forever. Heb 13:8. If He is the same today and you meet Him, will you remain the same? If you believe that He is the same today as He was in the bible days, you can never be frustrated. No one met Him in the bible believing without a testimony. As you believe that He lives today as He was in the bible, bible kind of miracles must follow you in His name. He will confirm your belief or faith as He confirmed the word from the heart and mouth of the early disciples.

” Behold I come quickly, blessed is he that keepeth the saying of the prophecy of this book.And, behold I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the bright and morning star. I am the root and the offspring of David;

And the spirit and the bride say, come. And let him that heareth say, come. And let him that is thirsty come. And whosoever will let him take the water of life freely. For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, if any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book.

And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. He which testifieth these things saith, surely I come quickly. Even so come Lord Jesus. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all Amen. Revelation 22:7,12-21

If you do not believe that Jesus lives forever more, you and a heathen have no difference. Outside this message of Jesus Christ being alive and changing lives, there is no message of hope for mankind. Certain plagues in people’s lives will end only with live experience or encounter with the living Jesus. Man is a conscious being, as a man thinks so he is. You need to hold on to the prophecy of this book. A prophecy is a divine utterance. It has come from the Living Jesus, my humble self, angel, and Paul with other disciples. Jesus has sent this testimony to produce your testimony in every area that you need divine intervention. Is there any area that all other things have failed in your life? Is there any where that you have a challenge and need speedy help from above?

Are you born again? If not, give your life to the Living Jesus now, say this prayer before we go into the one for Living proofs.

“Oh Lord Jesus, I am sorry for my sins, forgive me and wash me with your precious Blood. Accept me as your own. From now I receive you as my personal Lord and Saviour. I reject Satan and all his works. Henceforth, I am born again. At the last day, I will make heaven. My name is written in the book of life and cancelled from the book of death. Thank you Jesus for saving me. I am born again, a new creation, old things are passed away and all things have become new.

Now that you are born again, you can pray the next prayer for living proof. ‘LIVING JESUS, I believe that you are alive. I believe that you rose again on the third day and

appeared for forty days with infallible proofs. I believe all those you appeared to, both in the bible and in this present time since you are the same yesterday, today and forever Heb 13:8. To be the same is to be unchanging and constant. I believe that you are still moving around doing good as in the bible days.

Living Jesus, show yourself concerning me………………………………..and proof that you are alive. Use me as a living proof in my areas of challenges. Supply my needs according to your riches in glory. Thank you Lord. I will testify of your living proof to all. Through me let others believe that you live forevermore.”

This is the prayer that have changed many lives and will still change more lives if prayed with faith and understanding. You have joined the line up of those to testify that Jesus Christ is alive.
